Your website either helps you connect with the people who are looking for what you’re offering, or you shouldn’t be investing your money in it. Good design reflects who you are, gives people confidence in what you’re offering, and motivates them to do business with you.
Google tells us that 60% of all searches today are made on cell phones, and that if a website is not optimized (called “responsive”) for such searches, it will now be placed farther down in search results, making it harder for people to find you.
A recent international study covered over 150,000 employees worldwide and found they spent an average of one hour and 53 minutes per day on the Internet while at work, with 50 minutes reserved for personal surfing. Most of that was on mobile phones.
